Stop Biden's war on Union Labor

On April 29, 2019 Joe Biden announced his run for President at the Teamsters Local 249 Union Hall in Pittsburg, PA.

He promised 7.5 million Union Jobs, said he was a friend of Labor. We responded with endorsements, campaign contributions, worked telephones and knocked on doors to push him over the line.

Day one he stabbed Union workers in the back. Day one he cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline effectively destroying thousands of Union jobs both here and with our Union Brothers and Sisters in Canada.

Call the White House at 202 456-1414 and tell them you are a Union worker and want Joe to keep his promise.

Call Senator Amy Klobuchar at  202 224-3244 and tell her to support the Keystone Pipeline.

Call Senator Tina Smith at  202 224-5641 and tell her to support the Keystone Pipeline.

Also be sure to contact your Congress Person in the House. Find your Representative here

But we need all of our voices to fix this!

We proudly support the O'Brien, Zuckerman slate

The lines are being drawn. We believe OZ is the best choice for the future of our great Teamsters Union.

Hoffa sidelined the members and surrendered givebacks, and his hand-picked successors will do the same. We will mobilize working Teamsters in contract campaigns, fight givebacks, and use the strike weapon, when necessary, to win the wages, benefits and pensions that members deserve.

The likes of Hoffa throwbacks like Brian Aldes have to go. The Hoffa reign is over. It's time to restore power to the members.

Teamsters approve on-line Ballots

Good news fellow Teamsters. Covid has made it difficult to do many things, but Union voting shouldn't be one of them.

From TDU,

Today the Election Supervisor for the IBT election approved a system for candidates and slates to obtain Accreditation Petition Signatures on-line. The on-line system is not yet operative, but is expected to be operational with the next several days.

As soon as that system is in place, TDU will post exactly how any member can sign a slate petition electronically, and how you can pass along that information to fellow Teamsters.

The Election Supervisor announced this addition to the Election Rules in response to COVID-19’s impact on person-to-person contact.

The Teamster-to-Teamster petitioning by O’Brien Zuckerman Teamsters United volunteers continues at full-speed across North America.

Ask Teamsters 320 Brian Aldes why Skoog? Why now?

We all need to ask Aldes why he has almost completely turned over to Erik Skoog, who left Local 120 under a cloud of misuse of union resources, the decision-making at Teamsters Local 320. It appears that Skoog is consolidating power against Aldes, who is just too obtuse to figure that out. Apparently the rest of the executive board is just standing aside letting it happen.

Teamsters 320 Brian Aldes, more money, less time for us

Brian Aldes has announced his addition to the Vairma 2021 Slate to replace Hoffa. Steve Vairma is Secretary Treasurer of Denver Local 455, President of Joint Council 3 and Western Region International Vice President. A Hoffa crony vying for Hoffa's spot.

As many of us know Brian is already hard to find, like when our computer system was down for days and he was partying up at Cragun's. He has so little time for members that 11 groups, yes, 11 recently decertified Teamsters 320.

If he's that short on time with his Secretary-Treasurer job and his spot on Joint Council 32 how will he find time for us and a grueling National Campaign?

Brian your first duty is to the members who pay your multiple salaries! Or is that the real plan? To follow your friend the cheating Ken Hall in exploiting even more loop holes for even more stacked salaries?

Steve Vairma, if you want to have a fighting chance of winning, we recommend cutting the anchor known as Brian Aldes loose. He will only weigh you down.

Support 320 Members 1st endorses O'Brien and Zuckerman

The best way to support 320 members first is to end corruption at the top!
That's why we are endorsing the O'Brien and Zuckerman Slate!

O’Brien leads Teamsters Local 25 in Boston and Zuckerman leads Teamsters Local 89 in Louisville Kentucky.  O’Brien and Zuckerman pledged to build on the momentum that Teamsters United created in 2016.  During that election cycle, Teamsters United nearly unseated Hoffa.  Hoffa lost the U.S. vote and squeaked out a 6,024-vote win among the 1.2 million Teamsters.  More than 70 percent of the 240,000 Teamsters at UPS voted against Hoffa.
